Middlesex FA

Recent county news
  1. This prestigious event, which was sponsored by Middlesex FA, took place at Uxbridge FC last Friday evening, with the highly regarded football journalist and biographer, Patrick Barclay as guest speaker.
  2. We completed our cup final schedule for this season on Sunday morning at Silver Jubilee Park, the splendid new home of Edgware Town and Hendon Football Clubs. This game was the Under 12 final between Wembley Youth from the Harrow Youth League and Whetstone Wanderers Youth, who play in the Watford Friendly League. These teams, the survivors from the 96 who entered the competition this season, produced an entertaining game.
  3. The Middlesex under18 team entertained their Amateur Football Alliance counterparts last Wednesday evening at Bedfont & Feltham FC, in their final South East Counties Youth Championship fixture of the season. Unfortunately, we managed to lose an entertaining and well-contested match against a very good AFA team by 4 goals to 2.
  4. The Capital Women’s Intermediate and Junior Cup finals were contested on Sunday 7th May on Bedfont Sports FC’s new 3G surface. These trophies are competed for by teams from the Amateur Football Alliance, London, Surrey and Middlesex FAs. This year, Middlesex FA was responsible for organising the Intermediate final and Surrey FA for running the Junior final. Members of all four competing Associations attended on the day, to ensure the smooth running of the event. The match officials were appointed by the relevant organising associations and the performances of both sets of officials were a credit to their respective parent bodies.
  5. This year we’re looking to celebrate achievements across an even wider range of roles – and we’d like people from across the game to nominate the people, clubs or leagues who make a real difference For All.
