Another of the Club’s stalwarts, Football Secretary Geoff Knock is to be honoured by the award of a special medal and certificate from the Football Association to mark 50 years’ service to football.

It is just about the highest award that can be attained at our levels of football and the Club is delighted for Geoff who saw long service with Bedfont FC for many years, before joining Ashford where he has performed the Secretary role with great distinction.

The presentation will be made on Saturday 12 November at our home match against Aylesbury, and will be made by John and Jim Taylor, senior members of Middlesex County FA, on behalf of the Football Association.

Geoff becomes the third current member of the Club to receive this award after Bob Parker and Alan Constable, along with Pat Munns who has a 25 year award.
