I would like to let Ashford supporters know of some changes to the Manageemnt Staff.

Firstly Terry O’Sullivan joins the club as an additional first team coach.  He brings a wealth of experience and joins from Bedfont Sports, previously he spent two years coaching at Watford before landing a full-time role as the Head of Recruitment at QPR, a role he held for eight years. He joins my existing coaching staff of Mark Green, David Gully and Pat Munns.

I have also added Jack Bailey to the management team as First Team Kitman, a position previously held by his older brother Charlie, who now takes up the role of Head of Social Media within the club.

I am very happy to have Terry join the club as his experience and knowledge of the game will be invaluable as we go into the second half of the season. He has been in with us for a week or two now and he already has a good connection with the lads. He understands the style and philosophy that I look for and it is important to have coaches around me that I can trust. I like to be hands-on with coaching sessions but I am also adamant that you have to have coaches in the set-up who can coach both team and player specific themes, something we have worked hard on this season. He will join Dave Gully in doing exactly that, it is extremely encouraging for the team and the club.

I am also very pleased to have Jack within my set-up as well, he is great with the lads and is already popular around the first team lads and ensures that match day runs smoothly. It was the right move for Charlie, who has been an invaluable asset to the club, as he needs to focus on his own football as a 1st year youth player and be part of what is an exciting squad full of prospects, of which he is one. He has made the Ashford Twitter account one of the best in non-league football”.
