The lack of Football over the past few months was a factor here today with both sides unable to really get going. Ashford had shown some signs of a recovery before the weather cancelled out nearly six weeks of football, as we all know the Team is very young with some additional faces appearing on a weekly basis but with no football to play the Team cannot develop. Uxbridge eventually gained a foothold on the game and Wayne Carter was in inspired form dictacting the  pace of the game. Ashford did however force Ex Ashford keeper Paul McCarthy to make some exellent saves but it was Uxbridge's day and we wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season. I am sure the squad will not take this defeat lightly and will ensure they all improve over the coming weeks.
